Uruguay as an Anchor: Residency, Property, and Legal Reality
Live conversation with Teuten Abogados
Uruguay continues to come up in many of our conversations about international relocation.
Stable institutions.
Strong rule of law.
A reputation as one of the most reliable jurisdictions in South America.
But like any country, relocating there involves more than simply arriving.
For this session, we’ll be joined by Teuten Abogados, a Montevideo-based law firm that works extensively with international clients on immigration, residency, and property transactions in Uruguay.
We’ll discuss:
Residency pathways and immigration procedures
What foreigners should know about property purchases
How the legal system works in practice
Common mistakes people make when relocating
When: Thursday, April 2nd
Time: 1:00 pm CST
Where: Zoom
If Uruguay is on your radar as a potential base or long-term option, this conversation will give you a clearer picture of how the process works.
We hope you can join us.

This country has been on my list to visit for quite some time
I attended most of live session today, thanks for doing it! I remember Mark's discussion of mortgages, but when I stepped out for a couple of minutes, did I miss information on buying property, taking title, etc.? If so can you give me an idea of the time it was discussed so that I can search in the replay?
