Since launching Borderless Living, I’ve tried to give readers something rare: real strategic insight in a world full of recycled blog posts and shallow YouTube hacks.

We cover high-context, high-stakes material — cross-border taxation, regime risk, asset protection, sovereign migration. It’s complex. And it matters.

And because it matters, it needs to be bulletproof.

That’s why I’m hiring.

✍️ 1. Strategic Longform Editor

We publish 2,000–5,000 word pieces that blend narrative, strategy, and systems analysis. You’ll be the editorial scalpel: tightening structure, challenging logic, and making the sharp parts sharper — without sanding off the edge.

You should be comfortable editing opinionated, complex writing. You’ll be working with me directly — shaping early drafts for clarity, tone, and flow.

We’re not looking for a grammarian. We’re looking for an editorial partner who understands how ideas move people.

Who We’re Looking For

This isn’t just about grammar. It’s about judgment.

I need someone who can step into longform drafts that blend:

• international law and tax strategy,

• geopolitical pattern recognition,

• psychological warfare at borders,

• and the occasional very pointed critique of modern technocratic feudalism…

…and help shape them into clear, tight, compelling essays — without sanding off the teeth.

You’ll be working directly with me. That means fast-moving drafts, last-minute rewrites, and the occasional tangent that turns into a full-blown essay overnight. It’s not chaotic — but it is dynamic.

This role is for someone who likes being deep in the work. Someone who finds satisfaction in sharpening ideas, tightening logic, and amplifying voice — without needing to rewrite everything from scratch. Someone who’s tactically invisible… but makes the writing 10x better.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Editing longform strategy and narrative pieces for clarity, tone, structure, and punch

• Preserving the voice (a mix of policy analyst, ex-spook, and defiant Gen X libertarian)

• Making strategic suggestions when a section is too thin, confusing, or repetitive

• Occasionally helping with headlines, deck copy, or email blurbs

• Providing fast turnarounds when a piece needs to hit within 24–48 hours

You won’t be expected to fact-check — we’re hiring separately for that — but you will be expected to notice when something sounds off or logically thin and flag it.

Who You (Probably) Are

• You’ve edited opinion, policy, or thought leadership work before — not just how-to articles or generic B2B

• You’ve worked with authors who have a strong voice and aren’t afraid to make bold claims

• You know how to preserve rhythm and tone while tightening logic and flow

• You’re fluent in the difference between edits that improve clarity… and ones that neuter style

• You don’t need handholding — but you do ask smart questions

• You can work with tracked changes, margin comments, or markdown — whatever the workflow demands

Bonus points if you’ve worked in:

• Political commentary, legal journalism, or think tank content

• Substack editing or independent newsletters

• Ghostwriting or collaborating with strong founders or public figures

✅ 2. Professional Fact Checker (International Tax, Law, and Migration)

This isn’t a role for AI or ChatGPT parroting headlines. We need someone fluent in verifying legal/tax strategy across multiple jurisdictions — someone who can sense when a sentence like “Singapore trusts are bulletproof” needs qualifying, and can cite the law firm whitepaper to back it up.

You’ll be reviewing longform drafts before they go live, checking:

• Jurisdictional facts (residency rules, exit tax triggers, CRS enforcement patterns)

• Legal and financial structures (trusts, LLCs, treaty interplay)

• Policy and immigration shifts (Golden Visas, asset reporting, sanctions risk)

Ideal candidates have a background in legal research, financial journalism, compliance, or regulatory analysis — and can move fast without cutting corners.
